Field Notes
Field notes are records of direct observation. A field note could capture what customers say about the product, what sales hears from prespects, what a product can do and how a product is used, and more. Field notes provide evidence and when made in relationship, they support context.
A field note preserves source material before it is compressed into messaging, narrative, strategy, or plans. A useful field note separates the observation itself from the interpretation that follows.
At NTEXT.co, field notes are part of a continuous operating loop:
Observe → Record → Connect → Act → REPEAT
Observations are recorded, connected to other evidence, and translated into decisions. Those decisions create new outcomes and signals, which become the basis for further observation.
NTEXT.co maintains a living evidence base that can inform marketing, sales, product, and company strategy as conditions change, all through the n=1 unit of a field note.
